There is a provision for the review of an aquaculture licence.\u00a0 It may be made an application of the licensee at any time within three years commencing on the grant\u00a0 on completion of the review; the Minister may alter, amend or attach conditions to the licence or not<\/p>\n
The provisions that apply to the grant for an aquaculture licence apply to a review. The Minister may revoke an aquaculture licence if he is satisfied that there has been a breach of condition, the aquaculture operations are not properly maintained, or if it is in the public interest. A 28-day notice is to be given of the proposed revocation.<\/p>\n
The Minister must consider representations and may proceed with the revocation or not.\u00a0 In certain cases, the licensee may be entitled to compensation to be decided in default of the agreement under the Acquisition of Land (Assessment of Compensation) Act.<\/p>\n\n
