Contract Types

Public work contracts are contracts that have their object out of the execution or design and execution of works in accordance with the requirements specified by the authority. The works maybe a building or civil engineering work.

A public supply contract is one having the object to purchase rent hire purchase with or without the option to buy, a product.

Public service contracts are contracts other than public works or supply contracts that are for the purpose of the provision of services referred to in the procurement directive.

A contract providing for both products and services is a public service contract if the value of services exceeds the value of products.

A public works concession is a public works contract, where the consideration consists solely or partly in the right to exploit the work or without payment.

A service concession y is a public service contract where the consideration for the provision of services is a wholly or partly the right to exploit the service.

A framework agreement is an agreement between contracting authorities and businesses to establish the terms governing contracts to be awarded in the period in particular regarding price and quantity.
